Our The Historic Voyage of Sir Francis Drake: A Student-Teacher Guide offers a history of Drake's encounter within the larger context of global politics and exploration. A section on "More Evidence of 1579 Landing" covers the archaelogical work that placed the cove at Point Reyes as the site of the encounter with the Miwok.
